Daewoong Pharmaceutical Participates in the “Convention for Pharmaceutical Ingredients (CPhI) World Wide 2006”
The CPhI 2006 was held in Paris, France. Daewoong introduced its products: “Easyef”, “Easy Dew”, “Luphere”, and “Ursa”
Daewoong Pharmaceutical participated in the CPhI World Wide 2006, Paris, France October 3rd – 5th and introduced their global brands, stirring up high interest among the participants.
At the event, the diabetic foot ulcer treatment “Easyef”, which is the first from Korea’s biotechnological pipeline, was introduced, as well as “Easy Dew”, a moisturizer containing EGF; “Luphere”, a patented anti-cancer drug; and “Ursa”, a liver improvement drug. All were products developed independently by Daewoong Pharmaceutical.
The overall high interest Daewoong Pharmaceutical was shown in the fact that the booth was visited by parties from 73 businesses all over Europe as well as Central and South America. Daewoong Pharmaceutical introduced and discussed export issues on its major products and patented ones such as Lansoprazole and Cefcapene among a total of twenty-seven. It was an opportunity for Daewoong Pharmaceutical to enhance and reaffirm its status on a global level.
The overseas business department of Daewoong Pharmaceutical said, “Daewoong Pharmaceutical is strengthening its global market strategies to become one of the top 50 pharmaceutical companies of the world by 2010.” They added, “The CPhI World Wide 2006 was meaningful in that we were able to introduce our technology and products internationally.
