‘Total Solution’ by Daewoong Pharm. Draws Much Attention in the International Conference for Wound Care Treatment

Daewoong Pharm. Co., Ltd. (CEO Jong Wook Lee) has received much attention from the international plastic surgeons, specialist of the surgeries for the burn victims by releasing ‘Total Solution’ the wound care treatment using EGF at the 8th Asia-Pacific Burn Congress. In this event, the strategy to target the global market with ‘successful product in Korea’ was applied so it is expected to see the acceleration in the overseas expansion. 

Daewoong Pharm. has hosted a symposium as the main sponsor of the international conference for the first time as the domestic pharmaceutical company in the Asia-Pacific International Congress that was held in Bangkok, Thailand from September 11th to 16th. Also an additional booth was installed to aggressively promote ‘Total Solution’ as the wound care treatment.

In the symposium that was held on 14th, Jun Pyo Hong, the professor (Plastic Surgery) from Seoul Asan Medical Center has lectured on the advanced wound treating method to 500 specialists with the title of ‘Chronic Wound Management in the Asan Medical Center Experience.’ Professor Hong has presented the practices of ‘CuraVac (a medical device for pressure therapy)’ for the regeneration of cells, ‘Easyef (cell regenerating ointment),’ and ‘Easydew (cosmetic treatment)’ for all the stages of wound process, wound, healing, scar prevention after the treatment and suggested a step-by-step solution for wound treatment and management. Professor Hong described, “Especially with Easyef, the cell regenerating ointment scar occurring degree has been significantly improved when compared with the existing standard therapies. “

Meanwhile, Asia-Pacific Burn Congress is the international conference held once in every two years and it was held with the 3rd Congress of the Asian Wound Healing Association simultaneously. In this international conference under the theme of ‘A Journey for a Better Care,’ total of 1000 specialists, plastic surgery specialists, surgeons, and medical personnel in the area of Asia-Pacific have participated and 3M, Smith & Nephew, ConvaTec, and other 50 companies related to wound healing and management have attended attracting much attention.
