Daewoong Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd (President Lee Jong Wook) released ‘Bearprexa,’ a paleophrenia remedy, on 1. Bearprexa, which features the ingredient Olanzapin, is excellent for alleviating symptoms of paleophrenia and reducing reoccurrence. 

Bearprexa comes in four types (2.5mg, 5mg, 7.5mg and 10mg) unlike original or general products, and can be conveniently selected in accordance with the symptoms. Daewoong Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd is the only company to produce the 7.5mg type product. 

Manager Lee Tae Yeon, Daewoong Pharmaceutical Bearprexa PM, said "Bearprexa has a low rate of non-compliance and re-hospitalization, which has enabled patients to return to their routine more promptly." Paleophrenia is so highly recurrent that it needs long-term medication. After it first occurs, the recurrence rate is 20~25% if medicine is taken steadily, otherwise it increasesup to 70~75%. 
Since it was introduced in 1996, Olanzapin has been prescribed to more than 20 million patients.
