Jae Seung Yoon, the vice-president of Daewoong Pharmaceutical, conducted site inspections in China

The Chinese market is a central and key location in East Asia and requires rethinking, reformation and innovation in relation to global marketing. The vice president Jae Seung Yoon, paid a visit to the Chinese branch office and conducted site inspections between February 6th to the 9th 2007.

All staff, including the vice president ascertained the potential of the Chinese market, which is regarded as the biggest pharmaceutical market in Asia. They also had time to discuss the possibilities and visions of Daewoong in global markets through this visit.

To make this vision possible, staff have conducted local market surveys and held conferences with the aims of achieving complete ‘Localization’ in terms of man-power, products, and manufacturing, which are essential elements of global management strategy. They also interviewed specialists in each part, visiting pharmaceutical institutes, and examined the local laws and regulations of China.

During the visit, Daewoong achieved the brilliant feat of being selected as a cooperative partner with various Chinese pharmaceutical companies. So this reconfirmed and enhanced Daewoong’s global competitiveness in each part in relation to manufacturing, technology and marketing.

The vice president said, “This year, we will be specifying strategies to enter foreign countries and utilizing resources at home and abroad.” He extols all employees of Daewoong to reform and innovate to complete strategic alignment of each division of the company in order to be a global health care company.
